Bespoke Oak Kitchen

We’ve been busy working on this kitchen the past while. It’s an oak kitchen with face frame and inset doors. It’s probably my favourite style of kitchen.

The design was done between myself and the home owners, they know what they wanted and then I worked everything out so it fits. It’s 100% bespoke to what they were after and I think it turned out well.

We went for dovetailed drawers on this, not many people even notice this but it makes a difference.

I like to get the kitchen fitted then make the inserts for the cutlery drawers so the folk of the house can choose what way they want it laid out.

It all worked out pretty well, the curved doors were a bit tricky but I was surprised how well they turned out.

The clients will decorate the place themselves, I think even with the walls painted it’ll make a bit of a difference too. Good transformation.

However you found this, thanks for looking, if you know someone who would be interested in it then feel free to share it with them.

Just some details on it :

Solid oak face frame cabinets with an inset door on a butt hinge. All hand made here in the workshop in Argyll. Solid oak worktops, also all handmade in Argyll. Both the cabinets and worktops were finished with an oil. A clear for the cabinets and a darker shade for the worktops. This was fitted in a house in Argyll but we’ve done work all over so even if you’re looking for a bespoke kitchen in even Glasgow or Edinburgh then we’re happy to deliver and fit wherever you live.
