I've had an idea to make a unit like this for a while. There was some materials I've had left over sitting about for a while so I decided to use them up to test out the design on this unit. It's made with birch ply and solid oak for the legs.

I finished it all off with Danish oil because I had a small amount left over from a previous job. It's a simple piece of furniture but I like it, I think it looks nice. The approx dimensions are 1m wide by 60cm tall and 30cm deep. It could be used as a TV stand or just as a stand alone cabinet. It's kinda funky and the birch ply end grain is a detail I'm pretty partial to.

I had some spare materials in the shop and I've been wanting to make something in this style for a while. I had enough materials to make this one at 1 metre wide, I like the design but I'll do some changes when I make a bigger one.
