Wall Panelling Questons
/With the genius that is my marketing strategy has brought people to this site who are looking for some wall panelling or wainscotting, somehow this site has ended up near the top of Google for some reason. I think it’s because I’ll periodically do blog posts on here and use words and phrases like “wainscotting Glasgow” with pictures of recent work added in. There’s marketing companies that will do stuff like that but charge a lot for it. Chancers.
When people send an email to ask about a price or something along those lines it ends up a few emails back and forward before we get to the price. I don’t mind that but some people can be impatient and want a price within 7 minutes of sending the email, I understand that too even though they should chill out a bit.
So the best thing to do to get a cost on wainscotting/wall panelling is to:
Take some approx measurements of the walls you want the paneling on. The length of the wall and the height you want the panelling to go to. Approx, not exact, its just to give me an idea.
A picture of the area would be ideal, but not essential.
A picture of the style of panelling you like. There’s a few at the bottom of this post or you’ll find a bazillion images of wainscotting on Pinterest.
If you get that together and send it in the email then i’ll be able to get a cost back quicker. I’m still unsure where people are getting ideas of cost for their panelling because they tell me they expected to pay this amount or that amount, possibly TV is the answer to this but to give you an idea there’s not really any room I could do for under £1,000. Even an average sized hallway/staircase is over £2,000. But, who knows, send those details over and we can sort out the best quote that we can.
If there’s anything else you want answered just send me an email. I’m not too good at life advice so if you could stick to wood related stuff that’d be great.
