NEARLY BACK TO WORK...

Managed to get into the workshop and try and do some stuff. I had an old bench that I keep here for people to see and sit on if they make the journey to see me. I had done the Danish cord weave pretty slack after I heard a guy say his technique was better….. It wasn’t very good though and I think he might have had problems, mentally.

I‘ve always been meaning to redo it but never had the time. I thought it’d be a good starter job to see if I’ll forever be the one handed joiner or will I be normal again. Worked well, didn’t lose any time doing it either so that’s a bonus, went fine, enjoyed it and my hand worked fairly well. I think the brain knows what it’s doing when it comes to dealing with injury.

I didn’t mean to do the over when I shoulda’ went under but I just tell people it’s a “limited Edition” People believe that stuff, that’s a weird thing. Limited edition.

This was one of the first benches. The legs are a bit thicker than they’re done now.

The round walnut thing here is the thing I was doing when I cut myself. I’ll finish it over the next few days.

This table will be out of here soon. The lady has been very patient with the recent shenanigans etc…

That film’s “SPEED” the music through that era of movie was a lot better than now, I sound old, Back in my day when the music in films was good…..

The online store is back open now, it’s back to the 4ish weeks lead time for stuff, sometimes sooner, sometimes longer, but 4 weeks is nice.
