NEARLY BACK TO WORK...
/Managed to get into the workshop and try and do some stuff. I had an old bench that I keep here for people to see and sit on if they make the journey to see me. I had done the Danish cord weave pretty slack after I heard a guy say his technique was betterβ¦.. It wasnβt very good though and I think he might have had problems, mentally.
Iβve always been meaning to redo it but never had the time. I thought itβd be a good starter job to see if Iβll forever be the one handed joiner or will I be normal again. Worked well, didnβt lose any time doing it either so thatβs a bonus, went fine, enjoyed it and my hand worked fairly well. I think the brain knows what itβs doing when it comes to dealing with injury.
I didnβt mean to do the over when I shouldaβ went under but I just tell people itβs a βlimited Editionβ People believe that stuff, thatβs a weird thing. Limited edition.
This was one of the first benches. The legs are a bit thicker than theyβre done now.
The round walnut thing here is the thing I was doing when I cut myself. Iβll finish it over the next few days.
This table will be out of here soon. The lady has been very patient with the recent shenanigans etcβ¦
That filmβs βSPEEDβ the music through that era of movie was a lot better than now, I sound old, Back in my day when the music in films was goodβ¦..
The online store is back open now, itβs back to the 4ish weeks lead time for stuff, sometimes sooner, sometimes longer, but 4 weeks is nice.
Take it easy and respect the tools. No Foolish Moves.
