Fyne Wood, Dunoon

I popped into Fyne Wood earlier today because I was in Dunoon picking up my middle boy, him and his older brother are at that age now where they want to go places themselves on the bus and hang about with their mates. All I do is worry that they’ll get run over by a lorry or someone will beat them up. I think they can handle themselves and know to look right and left when crossing a road but I think it’s a thing I do, just worry for the sake of it.

Anyway, I went in to see what they had, they’ve always got good big slabs in and they’re all air dried, I prefer air dried stuff. Their prices are good too. The most recent live edge table I done was from Fine Wood when they were just starting up, I got a good deal on it. It was this one here -

That one above eventually sold, with was nice because I like to be able to buy stuff like food and things like that.

Another one I done from elm was this one below, I’ve kept this because I like it and it was one of my first live edge pieces.

They’ve got a lot of nice timber and they can cut it to whatever size you need. There’s a nice galley with some finished furniture pieces and some artwork too, good for a visit. Nice guys and I think more people should know about them.

If you’re in the Argyll area or even across the water in Gourock or Greenock sorta’ area then they’re not far for you to go in and see what they’re up to.

Thats where they are above, and below is their numbers you can get them on.

So that’s us, man. Just a quick one to let anyone searching for hardwood or live edge slabs in Argyll or Glasgow area that these guys have a lot of nice stuff and are helpful. If you go in tell them Neil, the guy with the beard from Lochgoilhead, sent you.

And as usual, feel free to share this to whoever you might think will like this and i’ll add my stuff at the bottom for the google search thingy to find it, you don’t need to read any further :) Thanks and take it easy.
