Danish Cord Oak Bench
/I’ve done a lot of benches but never done one in oak. I’ve wanted to but never got around to it.
The oak against the paper cord looks pretty nice to me, I prefer dark stuff, like my soul, but there’s people out there in the world who are positive about stuff and like light things. Weird. but we all need to live together.
I’ve slightly changed the shape of the top of the legs, The cord is something I really like. I’m glad I found it and got interested in it.
Same again from a few posts, I like when there’s evidence of a human being involved in the making. I’m not sure if a robot or machine can do the weave, maybe, probably but I’ve not seen it yet. Maybe that’s why I like it, because it takes time to learn, time to get good and time to do it, can’t be rushed. I’m getting faster at it but I’m still struggling to understand why everyones in so much of a rush. It should be easy to understand because we’re only here for a short time and we’re all going to die so maybe that’s why, most people I speak to though act like were here forever and are in a rush just because. Chill, man. It’ll go slower if we relax.
Please excuse the blackboard, I’ve got two sons who are young teenagers. They do this and then someone, sometimes posh, comes in to see me and there’s a massive comedy cock drawn on the blackboard. I apologise but what can you do. They’re just experiencing life.
These aren’t up on the store section yet but I’ll be putting them on ad they’re the same price as the walnut ones. If you’d like one just get in touch. They can be made to suit whatever size you’re after. And they can be shipped wherever.
