Some Stuff...

Here’s some recent stuff we’ve been doing…

This is just a sample of oak wall panelling for a full room we start end of March, this should look really nice once all finished.

Quality control…

Here’s a set of storm doors we made and fitted in the Southside of Glasgow. I’m sure I posted on here with the link to the side quest “Storm Doors Glasgow” I surprised myself with how many doors we’re making, I joke about being a marketing genius but I’m pretty sure it’s just doing the same thing every day for years and years (and years and years) then you have a thing that’s legit. So going by that logic, if I have a good ten years, god willing, then I might break even financially but I’m not sure.

These have the raised panels, antique brass ironmongery and it’s hand painted in Farrow & Ball “Lichen”

Here’s a before and after, quite a difference…

As of right now, February, doors ordered now will have a fitting date of October. We’ve been trying to find a guy to work with us but I think people are making too much dough from crypto from the comfort of their living room. I’m finding it hard to get anyone who wants the work, they shall appear at some point I suppose.

This was one of the first slabs of wood I bought, It was a coffee table but when we sold the house in the Goil it was sitting in the back workshop down here, Caleb refinished it and we’re working on a base for it. W'e’ve got a few slabs just now, one will be a desk but the others are sitting waiting. Good deals my friends, good deals.

Time isn’t on our side right now, is it ever? So if you wanted a dining table or the likes you’d be waiting a while, you’d have it before this Christmas hopefully.

Nearly finished up the back workshop. It’s very hard but enjoyable for the most part. We’re hoping by the summer we’ll have quite a few pieces of furniture and bits and pieces so we can have people in to see the stuff we make, with the hopes of selling it for a lot :)

I’ve always got a few of these mirrors going out too, Just an idea and something I thought would look nice, and a few other people thinkso too so they buy it, thats quite mental.

And there’s always a couple of benches being made too, same thing, just an idea that I wanted to see how it’d look. Now they get sent everywehere. I thought I’d have more money by now but I’m pretty delusional about most things…

And I got a new planer. I’ve wanted something like this for a while but never had the space. Very pleased…

The usual end to a post where I use words that google will pick up, if you’re looking for Storm Doors in Glasgow, people might search for Tenement Traditional Doors Glasgow, or Bespoke front doors. I don’t like the word ‘bespoke’ it’s for wankers. Also any danish cord or handmade furniture, walnut kitchen etc etc, made in Loch Lomond.

Apologies for that drivel, but google picks it up and then people find me and I can scrape by a living making my stuff.

Take it easy.
