A New Chair

I’ve had an idea for a chair for a while and managed to do it over the. past few days. This is the second one, the first. one had a straight back. I prefer this one. It’s oak with natural danish cord.

This will be tested out over the next few months. I think it could be doing with some thinning down on the legs. And probably more shaping to the back but I’m pretty pleased with it.

I’ve got another lounger type chair to do to, I’ll maybe get to that before the end of the year. I’ll probably make these as dining chairs once they’ve went through the usual abuse you’d expect in a house with kids. They’ll be on the store section when they’re ready for the world.
