Very Large Oak Table

I’m making a big oak table just now and I’m wondering how I’ll lift it about the place by myself.

It’s going to be 3m long by 1.5m wide. Big stuff. Managed to get some really nice wide boards from the sawmill I use. Maxed out the planer with a few of the boards

It’s not the biggest planer but its still 260mm, I love these wide boards of oak and every now and then I could be doing with a bigger planer, this works great but Gemma keeps telling me bigger is better. I didn’t know she knew so much about woodworking machinery but I’ll maybe be able to get a new one once our kitchen is finished. Before Christmas, it’ll be done before christmas.

I’ll update this place with the progress of it, I forget. We’re going for 120mm x 120mm oak posts for the legs. Should be a pretty nice table.
