Danish Cord Chairs - Oak & Walnut

I’ve been working on these chairs. I’ve got a few small changes to make and thats them ready for people to be able to use. The way I test them is to bring them into the house and use them as a family would. Teenage boys are rough. How old am I, man. So old I’ve got teenagers. I hate getting older, fuck sakes’.

I think these chairs will be in the store section of this website by the summer, I need to make a couple more with the changes and then they’ll be up. They’ll be available in oak or walnut with either natural or black danish cord. They’ll be finished with a satin wax/oil (Osmo 3032)

This chair was done with front legs from a first version I partly made and the back legs were four bits of walnut I had lying about that I glued together. I don’t like using all the good wood for versions that I’ll keep around the house so I use whatever I’ve got spare.

This oak table is a dining table that I’ll be finishing up soon and getting it to the folks.
