Samurai Sword Presentation Case

We had a samurai sword in to make a display case for it. Loved it. I would walk about the workshop holding the sword the way that a legit samurai would, quite mental, I think it had seen some action in it’s time.

I used oak oak and walnut with an oil finish, I don’t think I’ve ever made a case for something old before, I thought it turned out pretty well but the sword does most of the work. I got Caleb to take a picture of me when wandering about the workshop…
