I'm a gardener now

What’s happening? Fuckin’ crazy times, man. Maybe we’re nearly through it, who knows what’s going on and who’s telling us the truth. I’m done with the whole thing and I’ve became a gardener now, a farmer :)

I’ve never grew anything before and had no interest in growing my own veg but there’s not really been much else to do with our time. I’ve got into it, I’m pretty good at propagating, I’m not sure that it’s that hard, you put in the seed, water it a bit and it sprouts. Pretty amazing. It’s a bit like when you think that our hearts just beat, we don’t do anything to make sure it beats, it just does what it’s supposed to. That sort of thing blows my mind a bit.

Still waiting on the greenhouse coming, delivery times have been long for everything. I’m growing some seedlings for some Monstera Delicioso, a cheese plant/rubber plant I think they’re called, I love all they big leafed house plants. That might be my thing. I might venture into botany. a Botanist. Neil the Botanist. “Aye, Neil lives there, he’s a botanist. A Covid Botanist” We’ll see what happens.

I’ve found a few gardeners that I’ve watched on youtube for tips and stuff. If you’re into it have a look, who know gardening would be this exciting. Maybe I’m just getting old and boring.

Pretty good stuff.

I’m not really able to make anything right now, I can’t get into my local supplier to get some nice wood. It’s delivery only, when I’m looking for wood I like to have a good look through the pallet of timber to pick out the boards that catch the eye. I’ve heard they might be opening back up soon though. Who knows how people will feel about guys being in their house and stuff. I’m not sure I’m too excited about a woman hosing us down before we go in their house, it might just be super fuckin’ weird. We’ll see what happens I suppose.

My plan is to make some pieces that I like, stuff that I’d buy if I couldn’t make them and then ship it to whoever wants to buy. I’m not sure that’s the best business plan if financially successful was my end goal but I enjoy it, and I’ve got the gardening too.

I’ll probably have the items listed up here in the store section. If you’ve got any smaller commission type things you’re thinking on having made then get in touch and we can go from there. But for now, watch these guys if you’re into it.
